This is an excellent role for someone with an interest in corporate law, looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting fee earners on a wide range of transactional and advisory work within a leading law firm.
The Role
You will support the Corporate Team with a variety of tasks, including:
* Drafting documents and client correspondence under supervision
* Preparing basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision
* Conducting legal research for fee earners
* Preparing document bundles and supporting transaction processes
* Assisting with M&A completion processes, including DocuSign coordination
* Managing file administration including opening, closing, archiving and client care documentation
* Liaising with clients via telephone and email
* Attending client meetings with fee earners and taking notes where required
* Supporting administrative coordination, including seminars and internal events
* Handling initial client enquiries and directing them to appropriate fee earners
Requirements
* Strong interest in Corporate Law
* Previous paralegal or legal support experience advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Strong team player with a proactive and motivated approach
* Willingness to learn and develop within a corporate legal environment
