As the Cleaning Services Manager at Haven Caister, you’ll be at the heart of an energetic cleaning team, leading with clear direction and motivation. You’ll inspire your team to hit their goals and maintain high standards by demonstrating best practices, be hands-on with performance, provide feedback to help your team grow, tackle challenges, and support development. You will manage resources such as budgets and tools to keep operations running smoothly and act as the driving force behind exceptional cleaning services for our accommodations and facilities, continuously improving our operations and resolving issues. You’ll ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
* Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
* Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, provide regular feedback, coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
* Resource Management: Oversee team scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.
* Problem Solving: Quickly resolve operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
* Training and Development: Support team development through ongoing training, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in roles such as Cleaning Manager, Housekeeping Manager, or a similar leadership position within cleaning operations or facilities.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with prior experience managing large teams.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Experience in budgeting and financial management.
