Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year DOE
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/ Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tig welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves assembling components, fabricating parts, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
* Operate welding equipment safely.
* Fabricate and assemble exhaust components according to specifications and drawings.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
* Perform quality checks on completed welds and fabricated items to ensure compliance with our standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise.
Skills
* Proficient in TIG welding.
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience working with tube metal and various fabrication processes.
* Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
