C2 Bin Lorry Driver Location: EH11 4HD Hours of work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 or Tuesday to Friday 06.00-16.45 with 45 minute unpaid breaks Rate of Pay: £16.30 - £17.61 per hour Temporary ongoing work with no end date Immediate Starts Available Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an C2 bin lorry on designated routes within Edinburgh.
- Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal and recycling facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV C2 (Class 2) licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
