About the role We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Head Office team in Clent on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in overseeing management accounting requirements and strengthening reporting across multiple business areas within the Care Group, working closely with the wider finance team and stakeholders across the organisation. At the end of the 12-month term, we can explore extending the contract should ongoing availability and business need arise. Key responsibilities Prepare month-end management accounts for a portfolio of companies Support year-end preparation and assist with the audit process Develop and embed budgeting and forecasting across Head Office and individual homes Review and reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet Monitor and manage working capital Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and oversee annual depreciation Produce financial reporting and analysis as required to support decision-making Maintain key management schedules and reporting packs Support and coordinate finance activity across the team, including support with purchase ledger and sales ledger duties Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting, and controls What we're looking for Essential CIMA/ACCA qualified or actively studying towards qualification Strong experience in management accounting (including month-end close) Experience of managing or supervising a team (or acting as a senior lead within a finance function) Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Excellent communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines in a busy environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Enquiries We welcome enquiries about this role before or during your application process.
