We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager/ Project Co-ordinator for a scientific laboratory in the midlands.
Candidates must have a scientific background/ degree and/or some experience working in a laboratory (chemistry or physical testing) or have experience in clothing materials.
Previous experience working as a Technologist in clothing manufacturing/ testing is highly desirable.
This role would suit a scientist/ Laboratory Analyst/ Technician looking for a customer facing project manager role.
The role:
As a project co-ordinator/ Technologist you will manage several projects liaising directly with the customer to advice and plan testing of their products.
Duties include:
* Schedule product testing and ensure all projects are completed on time.
* Carry out routine physical testing in accordance with required standards.
* Be the primary point of contact for customers.
* Using your knowledge advise customers on the testing required and communicate results back to them.
* Support/ write project reports and check technical data.
* Manage client queries
Ideal candidates will have excellent organisational and time management skills.
