About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with some IT skills. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a well-maintained, proactively inspected environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, and decorating. A focus on kindness is essential.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act. All staff will attend safeguarding training and be able to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed.
