Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity as a Manufacturing Manager in our Operations team working within the Micro Electronics line of business to manage the manufacturing resource, assembly, integration and test, within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to enable programme / project specific delivery requirements to be delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality levels, utilising Key Performance Indicators to define and drive continuous improvement.
You will also be key in developing your team in line with the people management framework in order to meet the business requirements. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be on site.
As the Manufacturing Manager you will;
* Daily cross functional team meetings, Gemba walks
* Lead Implementation and effective management of Lean Manufacturing principles such as KanBan, 5's, Visual Management
* Define and achieve the overhead and capital budgets
* Achieve the build & test cells contribution to the current account budgets (sales, profit, cash)
* Responsible for leading & managing all AIT activities within the Integrated Programme Delivery Group IPT
* Responsible for yield improvement & non-value added process reduction
* Responsibility for process innovation & improvements across multi-functional teams
* Management of all the resources (equipment, documentation, facility and staff) to achieve customer (internal and external) satisfaction in terms of quality, cost and schedule.
What you'll bring
As a Manufacturing Manager you will bring experience in the following areas:
* High mix, Low volume Manufacturing background
* Extensive experience in delivering Lean Manufacturing Programs
* Proven ability to motivate & support teams to deliver results
* Leadership experience including coaching and performance management
* Experience of Micro Electronic manufacturing process
