Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving, and ensuring that all catering events run smoothly.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food for catered events, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
* Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests and addressing their needs during events.
* Set up and break down catering equipment and supplies before and after events.
* Serve food in a professional manner, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and quality service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including proper food handling practices.
* Support dietary aides by accommodating special dietary requests from guests.
Experience
* Previous experience in catering is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
* Experience in food preparation, serving, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
* Background in the food industry, including restaurant or barista experience, is a plus.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
