The Role of Area Sales Manager
Field-based Area Sales Manager covering the South East and M4 corridor, focused on driving growth through established electrical wholesale accounts.
You will inherit an existing customer base and be responsible for increasing product penetration, strengthening branch relationships, and developing long-term trading partnerships across your territory.
The role of Area Sales Manager
* Manage and grow relationships with electrical wholesalers across your territory
* Work closely with branch managers and counter staff to increase product awareness and sales
* Develop product range within existing accounts and maximise in-branch visibility and shelf presence
* Deliver product training and ongoing support to branch teams to improve engagement and sales performance
* Identify and convert growth opportunities within your existing account base
* Support promotional activity, trade days, and branch engagement initiatives
* Build strong, long-term partnerships to drive repeat business and account loyalty

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager
* Proven field sales experience within electrical wholesale, construction supplies, or trade distribution
* Strong track record of account growth at branch level
* Confident engaging with branch managers, counter staff, and regional decision makers
* Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
* Commercially aware, self-motivated, and target driven
* Highly organised with the ability to manage a regional territory effectively
* Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will be energetic, proactive, and confident operating in a branch-based sales environment.
The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager
* Up to £50,000 basic salary
