Health & Safety Manager Yorkshire | Full-time | Permanent Salary - £50,000 A dynamic, fast-paced business is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety, compliance, and wellbeing across warehouse, retail, and head office teams. This role is central to maintaining a safe, engaging, and fully compliant working environment, while also supporting efficient warehouse operations. What You'll Do Health, Safety & Compliance Own and continuously improve Health & Safety policies, ensuring full compliance with legislation and HSE guidance. Drive a positive, engaging safety culture, encouraging shared responsibility across all teams. Carry out and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, COSHH documentation, and training records. Lead internal audits, inspections, and investigations into accidents and near misses, ensuring actions are completed quickly. Manage RIDDOR reporting and liaise with external bodies when needed. Deliver or coordinate training, inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher sessions. Lead fire safety processes, including drills, equipment checks, and emergency planning. Track, analyse, and present H&S KPIs to senior leadership. Occupational Health & Wellbeing Work with HR on occupational health, wellbeing initiatives, and return-to-work plans.
