CAD Technician

About the Role:
As a CAD Technician, you'll be instrumental in transforming creative concepts into precise technical drawings that support the design and delivery of high-profile live events. From stage layouts and grandstands to site plans and rigging elements, your work will help bring ambitious ideas to life while ensuring safety, feasibility, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
2. Translate concept sketches and technical briefs into accurate plans for event infrastructure.
3. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from production, engineering, and site teams.
4. Collaborate with project managers to understand spatial and structural requirements.
5. Prepare documentation for planning applications, build manuals, and health & safety compliance.
6. Maintain drawing standards and manage CAD file archives.
