Please note, this is a physically demanding role - the ideal candidate would have multi drop driving experience, enjoy working outside, confident working on their own whilst work well in a team and able to apply the appropriate amount of effort to ensure a day’s work is completed on time Duties: After collecting equipment (cleaning trailer / vehicle etc.) from our depot in Shenley, using a company van cleaners spend the day cleaning mostly residential wheelie bins in the surrounding Boroughs (full training will be provided), returning to our depot when completed. For a better understanding of the role, we encourage you to watch a short video of what the job entails - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwtl6-C-ug0 Pay: To ensure all cleaners are paid fairly, a cleaners pay is calculated on the amount of work they do, mileage whilst driving and time spent cleaning etc and how many bins cleaned with additional Performance Bonus'. Hours: During bank holidays we follow the same system as the bin men so we would work Tuesday through to Saturday instead of Monday - Friday. You are required to be at the yard to start at the latest 09:30am. If have have finished your round before 5:30 you are more than welcome to finish your day. However you must at minimum work until 5:30 unless discussed otherwise. As some staff want to earn/work more whilst others happy to work shorter days, the role offers flexibility based on availability and working speeds Additionally, you will be paid a daily 'Completion Bonus' for successfully completing your given round, paid a daily allowance towards the cost of a Mobile Phone, PPE, Uniform, and paid a contribution towards your personal daily commute. Also, cleaners are paid a 3% Pension (equivalent) contribution on top of all work-based earnings, PLUS a further Daily Performance Bonus and Holiday Pay New cleaners are also paid an extra supplement wage during their first 3 months as their experience grows, ensuring they are not losing out whilst they learn local routes etc… If you enjoy working outside, managing your own day, think you can be a valuable asset to our company and want to earn upwards of £35,000 a year including bonus’ and benefits, contact us today… Please note, this is a PERMANENT position, and not suited for someone wanting a temporary role, with new cleaners taking (typically) 3 months to reach optimum working performance and optimum income - we consider this period an investment in the right candidate, and offer supplement pay during this period! Working days spent Training and/or trial periods (typically the initial 1st week) are paid in full at standard daily rates, however, in the event a contractor terminates their services before the end of the 3 months’ probation period, monies paid for time spent training and/or trial periods will be recovered from any outstanding monies owed.
