DBS General Assistant – Agency Work

Berkeley Scott are currently recruiting DBS-checked General Assistants to join our busy agency team, supporting a range of clients across Birmingham.
This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of environments including schools, care homes, and healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with basic food preparation
2. Serving meals and beverages
3. Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and service areas
4. Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
5. Following food hygiene and safety standards
6. Supporting the kitchen team with day-to-day duties
Requirements:
7. Valid DBS certificate (essential)
8. Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment preferred
9. Good understanding of food hygiene practices
10. Up-to-date Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergy certificate
11. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
