Care Assistant
Location: Beacher Hall Care Home, Bath Road, Reading RG1 6PG
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Nights – 33 hours per week
Salary: £13.10 – £14.10 per hour depending on experience

Beacher Hall offers 24‑hour nursing care and support for adults with a range of needs, including multiple sclerosis, respiratory conditions, Parkinson’s disease and acquired brain injuries. The facility provides both long‑term and short‑stay care in a relaxed, well‑equipped environment with a physiotherapy gym, landscaped gardens and communal lounges.

Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
