Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the Statement of Purpose reflects the needs of the young people in our care.
* Develop effective communication strategies to keep the team informed and engaged.
* Manage and develop quality direct services for young people.
* Implement North Lakes Children's Services policies and procedures.
* Identify and meet staff training and development needs.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
* Regularly inspect the home to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
* Oversee financial budgets and ensure compliance with company expectations.
* Promote Equality and Diversity policies within the team.
* Set and evaluate performance standards for the team.
* Provide vision and leadership to ensure effective workload management.
What We’re Looking For
* An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
* A relevant qualification: Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce, or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A willingness to learn and grow.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
* Experience with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
* A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (covered by us).
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position with a base salary of £31,105.28, with the potential to earn up to £34,362.56 through sleep-in shifts. You will work 42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern.
