A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a skilled Toolmaker to join a UK known manufacturer in the Worcester Area
With a strong focus on quality and efficiency, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands:on, detail:oriented manufacturing setting.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Produce bespoke tooling components using traditional machining methods
* Operate manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders with a focus on accuracy and safety
* Assemble and finish tooling using hand tools and polishing equipment
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy
* Conduct quality checks using precision instruments and coordinate measuring machines
* Maintain a tidy and organised work area in line with company standards
* Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets and support continuous improvement
* Take ownership of tasks and contribute to a safe working environment
Skills and Experience Required:
* Toolmaker with hands:on experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
* Proficient in manual machining and hand:finishing techniques
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
* Skilled in using inspection tools including micrometers, gauges, and CMM systems
* Self:motivated with excellent time management and attention to detail
* Professional and adaptable with strong communication skills
