Description
As a HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team responsible for one of our contracts, reporting to the contract's HSEQ Lead. Your role involves promoting compliance throughout the business, escalating issues, ensuring employees are aware of raised issues, and promoting document control and system compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Review risk assessments and conduct site audits to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed across the contract's sites.
* Coach, support, and guide staff on HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
* Generate detailed reports summarizing audit findings, compliance levels, risks, areas of concern, and recommendations.
* Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies to address non-conformities.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on health and safety performance and best practices.
* Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive HSEQ approach at all levels.
* Provide support and advice to leadership on HSEQ matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
* Deliver weekly HSEQ compliance reports, highlighting trends, KPIs, incident rates, non-compliance issues, and actions.
* Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including CDM Regulations and Permit to Work systems.
* Monitor non-conformances and escalate potential impacts.
* Support the preparation of comprehensive contract and management reports.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in a similar HSEQ Auditor role.
* HSEQ qualification, e.g., NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
