* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance – an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
* Medical Clearance – Pre‑placement health assessment (PPHA)
Responsibilities
We are looking for motivated, confident and experienced Social Workers in a fast‑paced MDT team working within the HDTA Community Service for North Manchester. The role involves assessment and support planning for citizens both in their own homes and in some cases 24hr care placements, Mental Capacity Act Assessments, Best Interest Decisions, Safeguarding Investigations and team duty rota participation.
Qualifications
* Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England
* 3 years’ social work experience, including assessment and safeguarding
* Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding procedures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Valid driving licence and access to a car (Essential Car User)
