Anderson Knight is excited to be representing our prestigious client in the search for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team. Operating within the fast-paced utilities sector, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth strategy alongside a fractional CFO.
This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the finance infrastructure, ensuring that the business has the strategic financial insights needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of the General Ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Manage the audit process from start to finish, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and deliver management accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and providing key insights.
* Oversee bank account management, ensuring the business maintains healthy cash flow.
* Develop and enhance financial models to support business forecasting and decision-making.
* Provide in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends and areas of opportunity for business improvement.
* Act as the main point of contact for bank finance liaison, ensuring effective communication and management of banking relationships.
* Prepare and present board packs, providing clear and concise financial information to senior leadership.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director, offering strategic financial advice and contributing to the growth and development of the business.
What We’re Looking For:
* A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent), with a solid understanding of financial reporting, management accounting and strategic financial planning.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Experience in strategic decision-making, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive business growth.
* A proactive, resilient individual with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-evolving industry.
* A confident communicator who can work effectively with senior leadership, external partners, and other stakeholders.
