Overview
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team, based out of our studios in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. There will also be fortnightly visits to the client’s offices in Welwyn Garden City.
Responsibilities
* Manage projects through JPG’s defined processes from brief to file release, ensuring the critical path is followed to meet client expectations.
* Oversee all assigned projects end to end; keep key documentation up to date and manage some financial tasks.
* Understand and follow all agreed process steps at all stages, whilst leading other stakeholders through the process.
* Ensure SLAs are met and briefs are accurate and communicated clearly.
* Work closely with internal teams to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships; liaise with the client across stakeholders.
* Maintain strong client relationships by acting as a liaison between all stakeholders.
* Keep stakeholders informed about project risks and challenges through daily reporting; attend all relevant project meetings.
* Create and manage micro critical paths according to the client launch schedule.
* Provide consultation on artwork and pre-press for the client and support internal teams with query resolution.
Qualifications/Requirements
* 2+ years of relevant experience in artwork and reprographic services with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of artwork and print (advantageous).
* 2+ years of project management experience; ability to demonstrate management of external stakeholders at a project level.
* Excellent communication skills; capable of engaging with key stakeholders at varying levels within the business.
* Excellent organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects and their stakeholders simultaneously.
* Enthusiasm and composure under pressure; a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to champion the process across the business.
* Professional and presentable; comfortable in a client-facing role in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Reliable team player; willing to contribute and assist colleagues in busy periods.
* Computer-literate in Microsoft applications with the ability to adapt to bespoke software solutions.
