The main objective of the Barback role will be to assist the bartenders to ensure they have everything they need to serve customers efficiently. It is important that this role be met with a passion for excellent service, and you must exceed customers' needs and expectations.
Our role of Barback is available on Fridays and Saturdays between 17:00-00:00
Key Objectives and Responsibilities
· The main responsibilities of the Barback will be to stock the bar area with liquor, beer, wine, ice, syrups, glasses, napkins, and other items before, during and after service.
· You will be responsible for Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
· In this role you must deliver customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism, welcoming customers to the venue to ensure a positive and friendly guest experience for all.
· Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
· You must be able to handle emergency situations, like cleaning up broken glass and clearing clogged drains
· Due to being face-to-face with customers, you must set high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times.
· A positive attitude must be adopted towards teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the premises, and interacting productively with other departments.
