Berkeley Scott are recruiting Event Safety Stewards to work in Glasgow and surrounding areas .
If you are experienced Hospitality Staff, Customer Service or Event Safety Steward and want to work as part of a successful team and provide customers with an exceptional standard of service then you are just the person we are looking for.

Event Safety Steward
Role Responsibility
6. Understand general health and safety responsibilities towards spectators/audience members, other venue staff and yourself
7. Enforce venue/event regulations
8. Carry out pre and post event safety checks
9. Control and direct spectators entering or leaving the venue
10. Secure staff entrances, exits and other key safety points of the venue
11. Check or take tickets on entrance points
12. Enforce venue search policies, whilst following the company’s search procedure
13. Seat patrons if the event is all or partially seated
14. Recognise any unsafe crowd conditions, such as overcrowding, or abnormal crowd movement such as sways and surges which may be experienced at certain events
15. Assist all emergency services, if and when required
Ideal Candidates will have the following
16. Previous experience in a customer service role
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
19. Excellent organisational skills
20. Good team player as well as ability to work on own initiative
21. Take pride in your work
You must be 18yrs old or above to apply
Pay rates vary dependent on client and/or experience.
