We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to lead our nursing team. They will be responsible for managing and inspiring our team of nurses and student nurses. We have a dedicated clinical coach, so no training is required. The shift is a 40-hour average week rotating between 8am-2pm, 8am-6pm, 1pm – 8pm and 11am-6pm with 1:5 weekends, (8am-2pm Saturday, 9am-10am Sunday and care of inpatients) with a day off following the working weekend. It will include a variety of tasks from consults, pharmacy, monitoring anaesthetics, undertaking stage 1 dentals and imaging.
About Us
We are a busy community general practice with close links to Wimbledon and Kingston upon Thames or easy transport links to London or the coast. We have a good selection of equipment including multiparameter, digital Xray and dental Xray to name a few. As a team we encourage CPD in all of our staff and then sharing the knowledge to those around them in meetings or clinical clubs.
About the Team and Culture
7 VS, 8VNS, 2 VCS, 9 Receptionist. We hold an annual dog show which is something both the staff and the community get greatly involved with, along with a summer works BBQ and Christmas party. Our social secretary gets us out of our comfort zone with escape rooms and games night, so any suggestions are welcomed.
Applicant Requirements
An experience registered veterinary nurse who is able to perform all clinical duties to an excellent standard, a team leader and player and a focus toward patient and client care
