* ReConnect Gloucestershire CIC is a leading organisation in the region dedicated to supporting stroke survivors. We facilitate 13 diverse groups, including nature groups, aphasia choirs, art groups, stroke support groups, and online meetings. We also offer home and telephone peer befriending services to ensure equitable support. Our community of Experts by Experience volunteersvisit stroke in-patients and provide CPD training for clinical staff, influencing NHS processes and reducing health inequalities. Our vision is to create a future where disabled individuals thrive in nurturing and empowering communities.
ReConnect Gloucestershire CIC is looking for a Groups Development Coordinator to help expand and support peer-led groups for stroke survivors, individuals with aphasia, and those with long-term health conditions. This role is all about empowering communities, building partnerships, and creating inclusive spaces where people can connect and thrive. You’ll organise activities, support volunteers, and drive engagement across Gloucestershire. If you’re passionate about community development, social inclusion, and making a real difference, we want to hear from you! This is a fixed-term role until June 2028, 0.8 FTE (4 days p/w) Salary £20,800 (FTE 26,000) with flexible working and great benefits.
