Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Sutton, Greater London
Banding: Band 7
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £30 – £37 per hour
Working hours: Monday – Friday
We are looking for a skilled Band 7 Pharmacist to join our client’s team in Sutton. This role involves providing Iclip cover and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising patient outcomes through expert medication management and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice.
* Ensure the accurate dispensing of medications.
* Work closely with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as necessary.
* Educate patients and healthcare professionals on medication use.
* Participate in ward rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Pharmacy
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of medication management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
