Your missions Overall responsibility for Balance sheet control and reconciliation. The Head of Accounting will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and overall efficiency within our accounting processes and procedures. Managing the accounting and payroll teams directly to ensure compliance on all areas and delivery of an effective accounting function. Overall ownership and control of the following areas; - Accounts receivable (Including ensuring effective credit control) - Accounts Payable (Ensuring on time payments to suppliers) - Treasury (cash management and forecasting) - All balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis - Monthly reporting on Key KPI's within the accounting function - Tax compliance & Optimisation (VAT, CIS, Payroll, STBV etc, R&D Tax credits) - Statutory Audit management and Corp tax (including R&D submission) - Payroll processing and reconciliations - Pension Compliance - Management of Accounting and payroll teams You are Requirements: Chartered accountant A background in business services / accounting teams Experience operating in a complex business with separate business units and overseas group companies.
