What we are looking for
The leadership team and school governors seek to appoint a dynamic, hard working individual who will live up to our school motto of “do your best”. The suitable candidate to this post will be able to teach pupils with a range of learning disability and associated needs. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a school with a positive, caring ethos where teamwork is important.
About the Candidate
Step into a role where every day is an opportunity to spark curiosity, ignite creativity, and shape futures.
* As a teacher at North Ridge, you’ll lead your own class or a small group of classes (similar to a primary school model) tailored to your strengths and passions.
* Our students range in ability from Early Years to Year 3, and your teaching will be dynamic, hands-on, and imaginative.
* You’ll bring learning to life through active, practical lessons delivered via a spiral curriculum that builds and reinforces knowledge through repetition and exploration.
* If you’re not an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you’ll also take on the exciting challenge of being a curriculum coordinator—leading whole-school development in a subject area. You’ll be supported by a team of experienced professionals and benefit from our staff development and training programme designed to help you flourish.
* Your impact goes beyond the classroom; you’ll play a vital role in helping our pupils grow into confident young adults, equipping them with social and life skills they need to thrive in their communities. At the heart of your work will be a commitment to nurturing each child’s individuality and zest for life.
This is more than teaching. It’s transformation. It’s heart. It’s hope.
