As a Digital DevOps engineer you will need good understanding of cloud technology and ideally have had some exposure to or knowledge of Sitecore, Azure & AWS. You will be part of a the non-production team building environments from the ground up to improve reliability and scalability alongside carrying wider infrastructure managed services responsibilities. You will also be working with a variety of cloud services, container and infrastructure as code tooling. How you'll help us make health happen: Look after the applications and infrastructure hosted on AWS, On-premise and Azure platforms. Provide application technical support to the assigned business unit, ensuring that incidents and problems that may occur are resolved in line with the relevant OLA and SLAs. Carry out code deployments and infrastructure re-builds across various Production and Non-Production environments. Act as a technical focal point when required, such as when a major incident occurs. You will lead and mentor the junior team members. Also, participate in and contribute to the Continual Service Improvement Plan to drive higher service performance and availability whilst at the same time exercising good cost control. Assess and validate technical solutions, designs, POC (proof of concept) to ensure that end to end solutions are fit for purpose. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Proven commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer Experience in Agile environments Experience of build/release/test pipelines and automation Experience or significant exposure too: Any content Management System, preferably Sitecoreo PowerShell, Bash for automation CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps etc. SonarQube Sonatype New Relic Ansible Terraform Docker Any Web Application Firewall, preferably Barracuda WAF AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services) Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE) Databases (Azure SQL Database, MariaDB, MySQL) Unit testing and test automation AWS / Azure DevOps (build pipelines, testing tools, diagnostics / analysis) Provide technical support to assist in resolving Major Incidents, including participating in technical war rooms meetings and communicating to senior management the status and progress of them.
