We have a full time position available to work on our busy dementia unit, Silk Ward in Macclesfield, Cheshire. We are looking for an experienced administrator to make this role their own and play an active part in our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Provide the Ward Manager, medical staff and multi-disciplinary teams with quality and comprehensive administrative support.
* Be the go-to person for administrative enquiries from patient records, stock ordering, data acquisition and reporting, auditing and mandatory training booking.
* Support the Administration Team on the ward; may be required to minute meetings as needed.
* Manage your time effectively and proactively manage conflicting deadlines and demands in a busy role.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong IT skills and ability to use a variety of Microsoft applications in addition to NHS specific applications such as System One, ESR, NHS Supply Chain and IPROC (training is provided).
* Experience of working in a busy office environment; NHS experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Additional information
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
