We are looking for experienced residential care assistants to work for our client in the Manton of Worksop, within their homely care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home can house 49 residents. The dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promotes wellbeing for their residents in a supportive and secure environment.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities and assist with activities of daily living to stimulate and improve quality of life.
* Follow individual care plans and provide a level of care tailored to residents’ needs.
* Record and report any problems as they arise.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of care within the home.
Qualifications and Requirements
* An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
* Up to date mandatory training
* A referenceable work history
* At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
* Experience with residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities

* If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, assistance is available with online training available at a subsidised fee and certificates are yours to keep.

* This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates.
* You will be working from 22:00 to 07:00 on various days throughout the week.
* Rate of pay for this role is £12.85 per hour
