Sales Manager / Team Leader - Commercial Insurance
Location: Dartford, Kent (Office-based)
Salary: £35, - £40, (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Permanent Position
The Role
1. Manage and lead a team of 6- 10 Sales Executives
2. Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and troubleshooting on sales queries
3. Monitor and review team performance against targets and KPIs
4. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
5. Carry out quality control checks on calls to ensure high standards and compliance
6. Support the team in handling complex customer enquiries and objections
7. Work closely with senior management to drive team performance and results
8. Oversee team administration, including absence, lateness, and general HR matters
9. Foster a positive, motivated, and high-performing team environment
What We're Looking For
10. Proven experience within the insurance industry (essential)
11. Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, or management role
12. Strong understanding of sales environments and target-driven performance
13. Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
14. Ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve results
15. Confident handling performance management and HR-related matters
16. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
17. Proactive, solutions-focused approach
