About the role We are currently undertaking the exciting construction project. We are seeking a Construction Lawyer to join our team. Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive legal support to the client (individual, owner) in the implementation of a residential building construction project: - advising on UK legislation (online); - working with contracts, agreements, offers, etc., preparing schedules of amendments, other forms of documents for changing/agreeing on contract terms, etc., participating in negotiations to agree on them (online); - analysing documents, conducting legal expertise, identifying risks, and preparing addenda; - developing standard forms of contracts and agreements; - conducting legal expertise of documents on issues arising from contractual relations, preparing legal opinions on them; - providing information related to legal issues within the framework of the project implementation; - monitoring the customer's performance of obligations under transactions; - reviewing and approving project appointments; - insurance issues related to the project, establishing guarantee requirements; - verification of the availability of necessary licenses and their conditions; - verification of the availability of necessary permits for project implementation; - determination of the legal consequences of transactions; - support for customer meetings with consultants (online), contractors and subcontractors on legal issues (as necessary); - Drafting and reviewing notifications and letters sent on behalf of the customer prior to signing; - Legal analysis of incoming correspondence from the client regarding the project; - Other necessary support for the client on legal issues within the framework of the project implementation. Requirements: - Legal education; - Experience in legal work in the construction sector in the United Kingdom (project support, contract work); - Ability to multitask, flexibility and diplomacy - Ability to minimize legal and commercial risks - Ability to express thoughts in writing in a legally competent, logical and clear manner - Confident knowledge of UK law necessary to provide services to the client - Systematic approach to problem solving.
