The role:- The Software Development Manager is responsible forassigned software development and test teams, developingboth the companys product suite and bespoke software project customisations, change requests andenhancements. The purpose of this role is to take full control of all aspects of software development for the teams assigned. Withinthe role there is a strong focus on project and stakeholder management. Required skills and experience:- Ideally qualified to degree level ideally in Software Engineering or computer science. Proven experience managing software engineering teams Demonstrable experience of planning and execution of complex software solutions to meet customer requirements, to time, budget and quality Able and willing to exceed client and internal stakeholders' expectations Significant experience working with agile development approaches Proficient in project planning and scheduling Must be capable of project managing a number of consecutive high- profile projects to exacting timescales Ability to analyse performance, and track to successful completion Knowledge of Cybersecurity industry would be desirable.
