Exams Officer – Team Leader

Salary: £30,438 - £32,292 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Examinations Team Leader to join our friendly and supportive Exams team. You will lead, supervise and support the team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of all examinations processes across the Group, with the support of the Exams and Achievements Manager.
You will oversee exam timetables, registrations, entries and certification claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for both students and staff. You will play a vital part of maintaining the quality of our exam provision.
You will be required to:
1. Manage workloads effectively within the Exams team (with daily, weekly and monthly tasks)
2. Maintain data accuracy using the College Management Information System (ProSolution)
3. Liaise with Curriculum staff and awarding bodies to resolve queries and ensure compliance
4. Ensure access arrangements and exam sessions are planned and conducted effectively
5. Provide information, training and guidance on exams procedures
As an Examinations Team Leader you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
You will have:
6. GCSE in English and Maths grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
7. Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant exams experience
8. An IT qualification, CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent is desirable but not essential
9. The ability to accurately input data
10. Excellent administration skills
