Interim Head of Development Finance and Analysis
Location: Manchester
Day Rate: £500
A leading housing and development organisation is looking for an experienced Interim Head of Development Finance and Analysis to provide strategic financial leadership across its northern region.
This is a key senior role supporting major housing and regeneration projects, working closely with regional development, land, and delivery teams to shape investment decisions and manage financial risk.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading financial modelling and commercial analysis for major development and regeneration schemes
* Providing end-to-end financial oversight on joint ventures, partnerships, and large-scale investments
* Presenting insight and recommendations to senior management and Board committees
* Working collaboratively with colleagues in Treasury, Tax, Legal, and wider Finance
* Managing a Senior Development Finance Analyst and representing finance at project boards
About you:
* CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant
* Proven experience within property, housing, or investment finance
* Skilled in complex financial modelling and commercial analysis
* Confident influencing senior stakeholders and external partners
* Available at short notice and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
