An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Personal Lines team as a Distribution Manager, here at Covéa Insurance. The Personal Lines (PL) team is responsible for a range of personal insurance products (private car, commercial vehicle, home, HNW and pet) distributed through a range of intermediary partners. We work collaboratively with both teams across Covéa Insurance and our external business partners, to deliver an exceptional experience to all our customers and support the profitable results to our business. The primary focus of this role is to maximise our intermediated relationships to drive sustainable profitable performance in support of the overall business plan. What will I be doing? Leading the development of Personal Lines products for existing relationships, driving opportunity identification and realisation Managing the performance of partnerships to maximise income and profits, making distribution-led recommendations to approval forums Collaborating with PL teams to ensure key touchpoints are in place and targets are achieved across your panel Maintaining strong market visibility, building high-quality relationships, and gathering feedback to drive decision-making and opportunities Developing and maintaining effective relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and partners to achieve premium and profitability targets Managing commercial trading arrangements (TOBAs) to ensure they align with the business plan Supporting partner engagement through event attendance and helping to build and promote the Covea Insurance brand Understanding all Covéa Insurance products to generate relevant opportunities and maintaining up-to-date information on your defined panel You should apply if you have… Experience in developing and maintaining successful relationships internally, externally & at senior levels; with experience in facilitating commercial negotiations A good understanding of the challenges across the Personal Lines insurance market Drive, ambition and a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to work on initiative and proactively seek solutions Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with proven ability to present recommendations to committees Demonstrable planning and organisational skills, with a delivery-focus and an ability to work collaboratively across teams to meet deadlines The ability to provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, fostering ownership & accountability, and leading by example to create a culture of success through change A passion for people, business and customers; sharing ideas and knowledge with others to find the best way of working Resilience, resourcefulness and strong belief We understand that some candidates may be hesitant to apply for a position if they do not meet all the criteria listed in the job description.
