Overview
Product Development Engineer – Location: Plymouth, Devon. Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience). Hours: 37.25 per week, Monday to Friday (early Friday finish). Contract: Permanent, Full Time.
On site in Plymouth, you'll have flexibility on start and finish times, and the potential to work from home one day a week following successful completion of probation.
Responsibilities
* Support the design and development of new hydraulic components and systems.
* Undertake testing, validation, and analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate world-class R&D into new products.
* Provide technical input during all stages of product lifecycle - from concept through to production.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the Product Development function.
* Occasional UK and international travel to customers and suppliers as required.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related discipline).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Practical understanding of mechanical systems, fluid power, or control systems.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Motivation to innovate and deliver engineering excellence.
