We have a vacancy for a Senior Musician/Teacher (Upper Strings) within our team in Big Noise Raploch & Fallin, Stirling.
As a Senior Musician/Teacher, you will support the Head of Centre by contributing to the development of our work in the Raploch and Fallin communities. Your responsibilities include demonstrating best practices in musical delivery, leading trips and events, and taking responsibility for one of the following portfolio areas: learning & teaching, youth voice, priority families, pathways, or community engagement.
You will also provide leadership and support for Big Noise Musicians, enabling them to deliver the best outcomes for children, young people, and community members involved in the programme.
Qualifications and experience required include:
1. Experience and success in leadership roles and responsibilities
2. Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
3. Education to degree level or equivalent qualification
4. Professional performing experience
5. Experience working with large and varied groups of children and young people
6. Proven success in teaching children and young people on your specialist instrument
7. A belief in the benefits of social programmes like Big Noise
This is a temporary post to cover maternity leave, offered on an all-year-round basis, working 4 days (28 hours) per week, Monday to Thursday.
