Your Role: Key Contributions to Pupil Well-being
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll be instrumental in:
- Providing dedicated one-on-one and small group support to pupils who require additional guidance with their behaviour.
- Implementing tailored strategies to help children manage their emotions and develop positive coping mechanisms.
- Acting as a key point of contact for pupils, building trust and a strong rapport to encourage positive engagement.
- Working alongside teaching staff to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour management across the classroom.
- Assisting with the de-escalation of challenging situations and promoting a calm, focused learning environment.
What We Require: Essential Qualifications & Skills
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Experience supporting children with their behaviour in a school or similar setting.
- An understanding of various behaviour management techniques and a patient, empathetic approach.
- The ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
- A valid enhanced DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.
