Job Details
Salary: Grade 3/4 (depending on experience) £24,796 – £25,583 pro rata.
Contract Type: Term Time Only, Fixed term until July 2026 (maternity cover)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 3pm
Location: St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Bognor
Closing date: 9am, 25th September 2025
Interviews: 2nd October 2025
Visits to the school are encouraged.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
We seek an experienced, enthusiastic learning support assistant, preferably with experience of working with children with additional needs and/or in an Early Years setting. The successful candidate will:
* be reliable and take initiative;
* be sensitive and caring; able to build relationships;
* have a consistent approach towards developing children's PSED through daily interactions;
* be willing to become involved in children's play to extend their learning and develop independence;
* be able to work with all children, including supporting children who have English as an additional; language and those with SEND;
* ideally have previous experience of working in a school environment or Early Years setting;
* have passes in GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above;
* be willing to uphold our school's Catholic ethos and contribute to the wider aspects of school life;
* be willing to work flexibly across the primary age range.
