Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), both in small groups and one-to-one. Help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and positive behaviour. Work closely with teachers and early years practitioners to plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities. Monitor children’s development across the EYFS areas, providing feedback and contributing to individual learning plans. Support the development of children’s communication, social, and emotional skills through play-based learning. Assist with managing behaviour in a gentle and supportive manner, promoting emotional regulation and resilience. Ideal Candidate: Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare. Experience working with children aged 0–5, ideally within a nursery or reception class setting. A warm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young children. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents. A genuine passion for early childhood development and safeguarding.
