Working Hours & Conditions
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time schedule will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced proportionally, with an increase in the hourly rate so that pay is not affected.
This is a part‑time role.
Eligibility
Applicants must have permission to work in the United Kingdom and be a current PVG Scheme member (or obtain one before commencing employment).
Responsibilities
* Act independently to provide a comprehensive specialist service covering assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral, and discharge.
* Supervise occupational therapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers and occupational therapy students.
* Develop and deliver training programmes for professionals and carers to educate them on the therapy process and management of patients' medical and social needs.
