We are seeking an accomplished Senior Research Analyst or junior Portfolio Manager to join a leading global equity investment team based in London. The ideal candidate will combine strong quantitative and analytical skills with a deep understanding of fundamental company research and market dynamics. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role within a research-driven, fundamentally focused investment environment, where rigorous analysis and sound judgment underpin multi-billion-dollar decisions.
While proficiency in data analysis and quantitative tools is essential, success in this role depends on the ability to interpret markets, assess company fundamentals, and generate actionable investment insights.
Responsibilities:
* Lead in-depth research projects to identify and evaluate investment opportunities across global equities.
* Conduct detailed fundamental and financial analysis, integrating quantitative tools where appropriate to strengthen investment views.
* Use programming and data analysis (e.g. Python, R, Matlab) to support research efficiency and improve analytical depth.
* Translate complex market data and company information into clear, actionable investment recommendations.
* Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and research teams to shape portfolio positioning and strategy.
Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in equity research or portfolio management, ideally with exposure to global markets.
* Strong understanding of company valuation, market structure, and sector fundamentals.
* Proficiency in using quantitative tools and programming to support research and enhance analytical rigour.
* Demonstrated ability to combine technical skill with sound investment judgment.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
