Job Title: Lead Product Owner - Broker
Target Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Full Time, Job Share option available
Salary Range: Dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid - Any Ageas UK office

This role will form part of the Integration Programme Management Office. When applying for this role you will be considered for all open IMO Lead Delivery vacancies. Therefore you only need to apply for one Lead Delivery Manager role to be considered for all

Lead Product Owner - Broker: Lead product development activities and optimisation of end-to-end customer sales journeys to maximise the value of the product.

Main Responsibilities as Lead Product Owner - Broker:

1. Accountability for creating and owning the product strategy for the Sales domain, using customer-centric product techniques to identify and solve problems.
2. Building deep understanding of customers, industry and the business so that you can establish and articulate clear priorities that impact business results, while adhering to appropriate regulations.
3. Demonstrating a strong knowledge of our technology stack in order to maintain productive collaborative relationships with engineers and to inform decision-making.
4. Leading product discovery and collaborate with the Customer team on user research and customer testing to bring the voice of the customer into the Agile squads.
5. Accountability for the Sales Product Backlog; creating, prioritising and clearly communicating initiatives, epics, user stories & acceptance criteria to deliver maximum value.
6. Driving an approach to product development that is strongly data and insight driven, using methods such as prototyping, user testing and A/B testing as appropriate.
7. Motivate and lead product squads to create brilliant customer experiences and business outcomes in line with the strategy.
8. Communicate, challenge and own the product vision aligned to the business strategy and convey this to delivery teams.
9. Continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
10. Ensure Initiatives have a clear cost-benefit case supporting any build/investment and work with.
11. Owning relationships with wider esure teams to ensure a holistic and consistent end-to-ed customer experience, managing risks and dependencies accordingly.
12. Accountability for setting and delivering objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for the product to measure alignment and delivery of strategic goals.
Responsible for the definition, implementation and utilisation of appropriate analytics and reporting of the product.
13. Support Business Change & Readiness activity to ensure value optimisation.
Collaborate with Lead Delivery Managers to support the planning of product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionality.

Skills and experience you need as Lead Product Owner - Broker:

14. Experience leading a high-performing Product team.
15. Product Owner related certification ( PSPO, CSPO).
16. Experience working on large Agile projects and an understanding of Scrum and DevOps.
17. Experience of end-to-end Product Delivery cycle.
18. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
19. A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
20. Data driven in approach with experience in leading customer research and insight.
21. Ability to understand complex business processes.
22. Ability to confidently challenge and influence stakeholders so true value is delivered and waste is minimised.
23. Proficient at generating high quality documentation including user stories, use cases and flow diagrams.
24. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
25. Proven ability to develop others - 5-7 direct reports.
