What you will do:
An opportunity has arisen for a Neonatal Unit Co-ordinator based at Ayrshire Maternity Unit, University Hospital Crosshouse.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the unit during your shifts, guiding colleagues with your clinical skills and expertise. You will also care for patients in all categories.
You will line manage a small team of staff, completing appraisals, developing professional development plans, and leading on NHS policies such as attendance management.

Knowledge, training, and experience required:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with qualifications as an RN, RM, RN (Child Branch).
* At least 5 years of practical clinical experience in the specialty.
* Educated to degree level with evidence of continuous professional development or equivalent professional experience.
* Successful completion of a course/module in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.

Hours:
37 hours per week. The shift pattern is rotational, including days and nights, 7 days a week.
Fixed Term/Secondment:
This role is a fixed-term/secondment position until 30th June 2026.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
