Overview
An exciting opportunity within HIOW Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for an inspirational and enthusiastic Administrative Lead/Admin Support to the School Nursing Service Lead. You will join a forward thinking and innovative organisation committed to improving the quality of child health services across Hampshire, rewarding staff success, and providing good customer service for all staff and patients.
You will be required to use initiative and work autonomously, referring issues to other relevant parties as appropriate while maintaining confidentiality and information security. The role includes managing, supervising, and allocating work to the administrative team, taking minutes, and being responsible for the team key performance indicators, with cross-cover support to other teams and sites across the Area as required.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and lead the Administrative Team Coordinators in providing high quality administrative support to the 0-19 Children and Family Services Clinical Team Leads to support effective delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
* Provide cross-cover support to other teams and sites across the Area as required.
* Take minutes and manage the team key performance indicators.
* Support the Admin Manager with the management of HR processes and recruitment; provide high quality administration to the School Nursing Service Lead.
* Ensure all communications are relayed accurately to relevant team members and agencies, following correct message taking procedures.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies including Primary Care, Midwifery, Education, Children’s Services and the Voluntary Sector to support the Healthy Child Programme.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Car driver with access to a car and insurance for business use (essential).
* Experience in managing, supervising, and allocating work to administrative teams.
* Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality, and deliver excellent customer service.
Location
Hampshire Wide covers the following locations: Fareham, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Winchester, Otterbourne, Havant, West End, Test Valley (Tatchbury Mount) and Alton. The Administrative Lead role covers the South Teams of Fareham & Gosport, Eastleigh, New Forest and Havant.
