Overview
Due to growth in contracts we are seeking a skilled and motivated Pump Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inspection and servicing of a varied range of booster pumps and also remedial works where identified.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Installation and servicing of a wide range of pumps, booster sets, pump stations, and control panels
* Identifying faults and causes.
* Strong communication skills to build inspection reports and provide accurate recommendations for remedial works.
* Conduct booster pump repairs and/or replacements where required.
* Conduct plumbing works associated with booster pumps.
* Respond to reactive works.
* Complying with Health and Safety policy and procedures
* Driving company vehicles
* Self-motivated, keen to learn, conscientious.
* Reliable and punctual
* Good customer service skills
* Physically fit for associated duties
* Must hold a valid full UK driving licence
Skills
* Possess qualifications in the servicing of booster pumps.
* Possess general plumbing skills.
* Identifying faults.
* Possess Electrical qualifications accepted within the UK
* Good knowledge of pump applications to include all aspects of building services
* Good Understanding and Knowledge of Controls systems
* Good level knowledge in respect of the latest technology available in the pump industry
* Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
* Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader.
* Good telephone manner.
* Ability to communicate well at all levels.
* IT literate (training provided for our service software application)

As we are a national company there will from time to time be longer periods of driving. There will also be the requirement on occasion for stay aways. Hotels for stay aways will be paid by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
