Delivery Driver
We are recruiting individuals to join our established and growing business which has a reputation for collaboration, innovation, and investment in its workforce. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of stock from our Birmingham site to various locations in the UK. You will follow pre-set routes throughout the week to deliver to stocking locations. This role requires moving and handling of items around 25kg so you will need to be physically fit for this role. A flexible approach and attention to detail is needed.
Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK and have a maximum of 6pts on their driving license.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure daily maintenance checks and security of the provided vehicle
Scan tote boxes in and out of delivery locations
Verify the quantity of received items
Act in a professional manner at all times
Work as part of a team interacting with other CHH Drivers and Warehouse operatives on a daily basis

Essential Skills And Attributes
Previous experience as a multi-drop driver
Clean driving licence preferred (maximum of 6 points)
Reliable and highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in store environments requiring manual handling
Proven track record of safely and legally driving 3.5t vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
Ability to adhere to Service Level Agreements
Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate using maps while gaining local knowledge
Flexibility to accommodate overnight stays as required
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with customers
Problem-solving skills for addressing customer issues at the point of delivery.
