Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a pivotal role at Enable, contributing positively to the daily lives of the individuals we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but what we guarantee is that you will support someone who requires assistance to achieve their goals and outcomes—whatever they may be.
Each person we support has unique requirements, so your role may involve assisting with personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations of the people we support are met.
We do not require prior care experience; we look for values, dedication, and transferable skills.

Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support as required.
* Support individuals in achieving their personal support plan goals and outcomes.
* Contribute to expanding the social networks and connections of those you support.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety and wellbeing of the people we support.

* The ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
* The commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans to ensure people achieve their goals and outcomes, and celebrate their successes.
